PWS have decided to donate money to Team Rynkeby, becoming a Gold Sponsor for the bicycle project, which collects money for critically ill children.

ELEVEN CYCLISTS WENT TO PARIS

Team Rynkeby started in Denmark in 2002, when eleven cyclists decided to cycle to Paris to see the end of the cycling competition "Tour de France". The cyclists had a connection with the company Rynkeby Foods and managed to recruit the food company and managed to recruit them as sponsors. They donated the surplus of DKK 53,900 to the children's cancer department at Odense University Hospital.

It was the starting point for an annual tradition, which has spread across the Nordic region and generated more teams that annually collect money for critically ill children.

A TEAM BECAME 62

Today, Team Rynkeby consists of 62 teams with approx. 2,000 exercise cyclists and 550 functionaries. Cyclists in Sweden and eight other countries are selected from among thousands of applications received via Team Rynkeby's website. Those selected commit to cycling 1,200 km to Paris and to actively work to raise money for the project.

THE MONEY GOES TO CRITICALLY ILL CHILDREN

In Sweden, Team Rynkeby supports two organizations; The Children's Cancer Foundation and the Children's Brain Foundation. We at PWS want to help as best we can and sponsor Team Rynkeby in both Sweden and Denmark.
